How Chinese Students’ Travel Constraints Influence Their Travel Intentions in Thailand: Moderating Role of Cross-Cultural Adaptation

This study clarified the controversial travel constraints in tourism literature and test moderating role of cross-cultural adaptation (CCA) on relationship between intention. In this study, 897 questionnaires were collected from Chinese students studying Thailand. Structural equation modeling was adopted to proposed model, effect CCA examined via multigroup analysis. Results demonstrated that interpersonal positively influenced students’ intentions, whereas intrapersonal structural negatively affected such intentions. A significant also observed “interpersonal intentions” “structural intentions”. Theoretical practical implications for academics practitioners education management are provided.
